Accessibility
We want everyone to enjoy your visit and we are keen to ensure as much of our site is as accessible as possible.
Our car park is on one level with designated disabled parking spaces adjacent to the Centre.
There is level access into and throughout the building.
There are no steps to navigate inside as you can move freely around our exhibition, shop, toilets, café and meeting rooms.
Our paths down to the Onny Meadows provide access for pushchairs and wheelchairs. These take you to our dragonfly hotspot and Kingfisher Corner – a popular area of our river where there is a wheelchair friendly picnic table. Please note that after periods of heavy rain, some of theses paths may be muddy in places.
There is a powered mobility scooter available to use for free around our site, including the meadows (subject to availability).
*We are committed to ensuring that we provide access to our Centre and grounds to people across the ability spectrum. Our work to improve accessibility is ongoing as we try to encourage visits from people with of all abilities.
If you have any questions around accessibility and would like further information about how we can help you to enjoy your visit, please contact us.
