Accessibility

We want everyone to enjoy their visit and we are keen to ensure as much of our site is as accessible as possible.

Our car park is on one level with designated disabled parking spaces adjacent to the Centre.

There is level access into and throughout the building.

There are no steps to navigate inside as you can move freely around our exhibition, shop, toilets, café and meeting rooms.

Our paths down to the Onny Meadows provide access for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Whilst much of the access through our Onny Meadows is via meadow tracks and woodland walks, some paths of hard standing offer access for our visitors with additional access requirements. Please note that after periods of heavy rain, some of theses paths may be muddy in places.

There is a powered mobility scooter available to use for free around our site, including the meadows (subject to availability).

We have a designated accessible toilet with fixed hand rails and a raised toilet seat.

For visitors requiring an accompanying adult, we offer one complimentary admission to our exhibition with every paying person that requires a carer.

We are committed to ensuring that we provide access to our Centre and grounds to people across the ability spectrum. Our work to improve accessibility is ongoing as we try to accommodate visits from people with of all abilities.

If you have any questions around accessibility and would like further information about how we can help you to enjoy your visit, please contact us.
